Please review this entire circular carefully as it contains all essential information for show day.
TECHNICAL REHEARSAL OVERVIEW
The technical rehearsal will take place during the day to familiarize students with stage spacing, lights, and complete setup. This ensures all participants are well-prepared for the evening show. After students finish their scheduled rehearsal, they may leave the auditorium with parents for lunch. Please wait outside the auditorium for them to finish. All students MUST return to the auditorium at 2:30 PM. Students whose technical rehearsals are after 1:00 PM are requested to have lunch beforehand and arrive with hair and makeup completed.
TECHNICAL REHEARSAL SCHEDULE:

ARRIVAL & TIMING REQUIREMENTS
Arrive at least 10 minutes earlier than your allotted time. We are running a very tight schedule. If students miss their slot, the rehearsal cannot be repeated and they will be confused during the show.
Please note that the venue does not provide parking. We strongly recommend planning your parking ahead of time or exploring alternative transportation options to ensure stress-free arrival for the children. Multiple parking options are available around the venue.
Arrive for technical rehearsal in ballet uniform. You can use old ballet tights and shoes or wear fashion tights if you want to save new tights for the show.
DRESS CODE & APPEARANCE REQUIREMENTS
Students must not have any jewelry or nail polish for the show. Do not carry jewelry including earrings, watches, necklaces, bracelets, or anklets. Threads around wrists or ankles must be removed. If they cannot be removed, they must be covered with a skin-colored foundation.
Students must wear only light white or skin-colored high-cut undergarments. Undergarments with prints, stripes, and spots are not allowed. Girls wearing bras under leotards must ensure they are skin-colored or leotard-colored, with straps not visible.
Clean, regulation-standard pink ballet tights and ballet shoes are mandatory. Ballet shoes should be clean without holes and elastics across the foot. Pink ballet tights should be clean with no holes or tears. Please check these items in advance or purchase from Fitness and Fairies directly to avoid last-minute issues.
2:30 PM RETURN REQUIREMENTS
After technical rehearsals, all students must return to the auditorium by 2:30 PM (no later) with makeup and hair complete for onstage meeting and finale song rehearsal. Please be on time as hundreds of students will be waiting. Costume should be in the costume bag – do not put them on. Our team and volunteers will handle dressing after you drop them.
For the 2:30 PM drop, please ensure students have:
- Costume in labeled Fitness and Fairies bag along with clean ballet shoes without holes and elastics across the foot, and pink ballet tights. Boys must carry black ballet shoes. For details specific to your child’s costume, refer to the costume letter. Girls should come already wearing their pink ballet tights, as it’s easier and more comfortable for parents to help their children with tights.
- Hair and makeup completed and ready. For details, refer to the costume letter in the Fitness and Fairies bag. These bags are labeled with names and character stickers for easy identification.
- Light, dry, non-messy snacks for backstage (sandwiches recommended). This is mandatory to maintain energy until the show.
- Water bottle. Water refill stations are available at the venue.
Do not keep food and water bottles in the costume bag. Carry a separate bag for snacks and water.
SECURITY & PICKUP PROCEDURES
All students regardless of center will be under our and parent volunteers’ care until the show ends. There will be designated restricted areas where no parents or outsiders are allowed. Please cooperate with auditorium security, external professional security team, and front-of-house parent volunteers for everyone’s safety.
Students will be received by our administration team and handed over according to the exit plan. After the show ends, during the vote of thanks, Miss Yana will explain designated pickup points. Look for signage as you exit to find designated pickup points. During pickup, ensure students have all belongings before leaving. Please be patient for us to call your child’s name for collection. Your child’s safety is of utmost importance.
PHOTOGRAPHY AND VIDEOGRAPHY
Photography and videography by parents is not allowed during the show. This distracts the children. We have two separate professional photography team and a videography team capturing the performance. Images and videos will be provided to you at no cost after the show. There will also be a photo booth setup in the foyer area for families to use after the performance.
WHITEFIELD STUDENTS ONLY
Since you arrive after 1 PM, ensure children have had early lunch and carry dry snacks with a water bottle. Bring them with full hair and makeup along with the costume bag when dropping for technical rehearsals. Your children will stay with us until the show ends. You may give them a non-messy packed lunch if early lunch isn’t possible as they’ll have an opportunity to eat backstage.
Thank you for your continued support. I hope you enjoy the show.
